Favourite Quote:
"The most important day is the day you decide you're good enough for you. It's the day you set yourself free." - Brittany Josephina

Favourite Food:
I love food in general! One of my favourites is a fresh chicken salad, but deep down pasta is my ultimate favourite.

I love spending time with family and friends. Running and going to gym, in general, is a lifestyle to me. But creating and story telling is my number one.

Short description about yourself:
I am someone with a great sense of perseverance and who persists until the end of the race. Throwing in the towel is not an option for me - finishing the race is always the most important thing (and rewarding), because "at the end" there is always a new beginning...
I wake up every morning determined to be a better version of myself than I was the day before. I work hard to better myself and believe that bettering one's self is an ongoing process that never truly ends.
My passion lies with people and more so telling their stories. I strive to help everyone along my way, especially the less fortunate. Last, but not least, there's nothing that makes me happier than laughing with my loved ones.
This is as close to defining me you can possibly get.

What will your contribution be if you should become MR. South Africa:
To be very honest, my aim with entering MR South Africa is to to encourage the young men of South Africa, from all over the country, to believe in themselves. I think it's so easy for young men to fall into the belief that we just have to work and survive. We're convinced that we shouldn't follow our dreams, because there are more "important" things to focus on than that.

I would like to contribute to South Africa moving forward, away from being placed into boxes because of where we come from and our race. I would like to instill into people that they have to believe in themselves and that they can reach for their dreams. We have to learn to help ourselves first before we try and assist others, because if you're not taking care of yourself you can't really help others.

I would also like to casually mention that I'm keeping a childhood promise to myself by officially entering the Mr SA 2017.

What qualities should a MR. South Africa title holder have:
I believe that the Mr SA title holder should indeed not have to be a "male model", but a "model male": A man that should be excellent, have integrity, be adventurous, be professional, be competent and compassionate. To me, the Mr SA title holder is also someone that's comfortable in their own skin. It is someone who lives their dream, because its possible. And importantly someone that is not afraid. There are ideas that need to be discovered and I believe they are waiting for me.
I believe if someone does not go where there is a path, but go where there is no path, they will leave a trail that will never be forgotten...
