"I believe that chivalry is not dead!"
I am an attorney-at-law in Port Elizabeth, specialising in litigation for the well-respected Boqwana Loon and Connellan firm of attorneys.
I am a passionate, intelligent, fun-loving guy who believes in pushing himself to the absolute limit because if you never push your own limits, how will you ever know where your limits lie?
I am an avid sportsman and have been a member of the Eastern Province provincial waterpolo team for the past 5 years and was chosen for the South African universities water polo team in 2007. I have also coached the EP schools waterpolo teams for the past three years. I enjoy playing soccer and golf and I am a qualified lifeguard and former NSRI member and voluntarily to patrol our local beaches in my spare time.
I am fond of animals, especially those in need of a home. In April this year, I swam 20km across Algoa Bay to raise R10 000 for the Animal Welfare Society, which was one of the charities I supported during my reign as Mr Port Elizabeth.
I have been exceptionally privileged to work with the Reach for a Dream Foundation, and would love to spend time working with, and raising awareness for the official Mr South Africa charity, “Ons Huis.”
I believe in putting others above myself and helping them to achieve their goals. I believe that chivalry is not dead!
I have been privileged to have been selected as one of the Top 50 Semi-finalists for Mr SA 2010 and if I am given the opportunity to represent Mr South Africa, I hope to be a role model for our youth, showcasing good moral values and being an all round effective ambassador for our truly fantastic country.
